Jonathan, the world’s oldest tortoise, marked his 190th birthday with a three-day birthday party at his home in St. Helena.
He has lived on the South Atlantic island and British overseas territory since the late 1800s and currently enjoys the company of three giant tortoises named David, Emma, and Fred.
Jonathan has lived through two world wars, 40 U.S. presidents, and eight British monarchs.
