White House Wants To Swap ‘Merchant Of Death’ For WNBA Druggy Held In Russia

  • The Biden administration has proposed returning swapping arms merchant Viktor Bout to Russia in exchange for the release of American Brittney Griner.
  • Bout, known as the “Merchant of Death,” is serving 25 years in a US prison after he was convicted in 2011 of conspiracy to kill US citizens.
  • WNBA star Griner has been jailed in Moscow for drug possession since February.
