- The unidentified object is believed to be the one that showed up on radar Saturday night over Montana but could not be found by a search plane.
- The object was downed with a missile from U.S. fighter jets.
- The takedown comes one day after an “small cylindrical object” was shot down over Canada, in the Yukon, by an F-22 U.S. military jet under NORAD.
- The ones shot down Saturday and Sunday – along with another downed Friday over Alaska, were reportedly flying at such a low altitude they posed a risk to commercial flights.
- Michigan Democrat Rep. Elissa Slotkin tweeted the object has been downed by “pilots from the U.S. Air Force and National Guard.”
