Former President Trump on Saturday night at campaign rally hailed conservative activist Virginia ” Ginni” Thomas for standing firm on her election integrity when being interviewed days earlier by the Democrat-led House committee investigating the Jan. 6 riot.
Thomas, the wife of Supreme Court Justice Clarence Thomas, testified before the panel Thursday and stood by her actions after the last presidential contest, telling lawmakers she had “significant concerns about fraud and irregularities in the 2020 election,” according to her lawyer Mark Paoletta.
“She didn’t wilt under pressure, like so many others that are weak people and stupid people,” Trump said at the rally in Michigan. “She said what she thought she said what she believed in.
Democrats claim such concerns are debunked conspiracy theories.
