There were several key revelations in the first batch of “Twitter files” detailing censorship during the 2020 presidential campaign.
For starters, then-CEO Jack Dorsey was out of the loop when the decision to censor the Hunter Biden laptop story was made. He later conceded that that decision was a “total mistake.”
Also, it was clear that Twitter employees knew the New York Post’s explosive report on Hunter Biden’s questionable business dealings wasn’t the result of hacked materials.
Only one Democrat – Rep. Ro Khanna of California – raised First Amendment concerns when Twitter suppressed the Biden laptop story.
