- The arrival of thousands of illegal immigrants to New York apparently has convinced Democrat Gov. Kathy Hochul that the Biden Administration needs to address the problem.
- Hochul said she has raised this (issue) with the White House as more than 11,000 illegal migrants have entered New York City since May.
- Hochul: “This is just a temporary situation but absolutely, we’re working with the federal government as well, I’ve raised this with the White House and this calls for a federal solution.”
