• Detectives from the Los Angeles Police Department’s Central Bureau Homicide have announced the arrest of a murder suspect.
• On December 28, 2022, around 12:30 a.m., Los Angeles Police Department Newton Area uniformed patrol officers responded to a radio call of a shooting with a victim down near the 300 block of West Adams Boulevard, on the west side of an apartment complex, south of 23rd Street, east of Flower Street.
• Upon arrival, officers discovered that the victim, a security guard of the apartment complex, was shot while attempting to escort a trespasser off the property grounds. The victim died as a result of the shooting.
