Detectives from the Los Angeles Police Department’s Central Bureau Homicide have announced the arrest of a murder suspect.
On December 28, 2022, around 12:30 a.m., Los Angeles Police Department Newton Area uniformed patrol officers responded to a radio call of a shooting with a victim down near the 300 block of West Adams Boulevard, on the west side of an apartment complex, south of 23rd Street, east of Flower Street.
Upon arrival, officers discovered that the victim, a security guard of the apartment complex, was shot while attempting to escort a trespasser off the property grounds. The victim died as a result of the shooting.
