• San Francisco’s Guaranteed Income for Trans People program – known as GIFT – will give low-income trans residents $1,200 monthly for up to 18 months.
• The application form includes 97 gender options, 19 sexual orientation options, and 18 pronoun options.
• “GIFT is one of several programs the City is developing, implementing, and evaluating to identify how to best support San Francisco residents and promote economic stability and recovery,” the City of San Francisco said in a statement.
