Prince Harry describing Queen Camilla as the “third person in their marriage” has gone viral on TikTok.
The Duke of Sussex said his stepmother was viewed as “the villain” and “needed to rehabilitate her image,” in an interview with Anderson Cooper for 60 Minutes in January 2023 when he was publicizing his book Spare.
A clip of their exchange has resurfaced on TikTok, where it went newly viral after being liked more than 10,400 times and viewed over 287,000 times in a couple of days.
“She was the villain,” Harry said. “She was the third person in their marriage. She needed to rehabilitate her image.”
Cooper then asked Harry: “You and your brother both directly asked your dad not to marry Camilla?”
“Yes,” Harry replied. “We didn’t think it was necessary. We thought that it was gonna cause more harm than good and that, if he was now with his person, surely that’s enough.
