According to Pew Research, 60 percent of Americans are remote working “all or most of the time.” Consequently, in 2019, the US Census said the average one-way commute in the United States increased to 27.6 minutes, up 10 percent from 2006.

One of the main benefits of working from home was determined to you can set your schedule. So Americans can take care of their family, walk the dog, or attend to an errand; they can essentially have control of the priorities in their life.

In addition, Bloomberg reports that Americans working from home are 13 percent more productive than people working from the office.
