A New York City investment bank seen in viral video punching a woman at a June 8 Pride Event in Brooklyn surrendered to police Monday and was charged with assault, according to authorities.

The man accuses in the attack has been identified as Jonathan Kaye, 52. He is charged with second and third-degree assault, the New York Police Department said.

The woman, identified only as “Micah P,” told NBC New York that the blow broke her nose in four places.

That Kaye punched the women does not seem to be dispute, but what preceded the incident is.

The victim says Kaye initiated the incident by called her and others with her “useful idiots,” then continued walking until she asked him what he said.

He then turned around and began moving toward the victim, who acknowledged splashed Kaye with water, which resulted in him hitting her.

A source told Fox News Digital that it was a group of demonstrators who initiated the physical altercation after Kaye, who is Jewish, commented that they were “on the wrong side” of an anti-Israel protest.
