Newt Gingrich says Republicans need to get over their hesitation to embrace early and mail-in voting after a string of Democrat wins in competitive races.
When asked by Fox News host Sean Hannity whether Republicans should pursue a more aggressive early and mail-in voting agenda, the former House Speaker replied “sure,” adding “you have to play the game by the rules that are existing.”
“You have to recognize early voting. It doesn’t do Republicans any good to save their TV money until October if they’ve had a third of the vote come in in September,” he said.
