- Las Vegas investigative reporter Jeff German, who was murdered Sept. 3, had the DNA of Clark County Public Administrator Robert Telles under his fingernails.
- “The DNA is alleged to have been recovered from the hand of the victim, presumably during the time in which he was fighting for his life,” said Chief Deputy District Attorney Richard Scow.
- Telles was the subject of investigative stories by German earlier this year regarding corruption and harassment in Telles’ office.
