• Busloads of migrants were dropped off at the official Washington, D.C., residence of Vice President Kamala Harris on Christmas Eve in below-freezing temperatures, according to multiple news reports.
• Three migrant upon arriving outside of the Naval Observatory, on which the vice president home sits, were later taken to a church by the Migrant Solidarity Mutual Aid Network, a local aid group.
• Several news outlets report the buses came from Texas and were sent by Gov. Greg Abbott.

  Abbott and fellow GOP Govs. Doug Ducey, of Arizona, and Ron DeSantis, of Florida, have since this fall have sent migrants to Democrat-led cites and states to make their case that record-high immigration is a national problem, not a state or regional one.
• Abbott in September sent two buses full of migrants to Harris’s residence, resulting in criticism from Democrats and others that he’d used asylum seekers as political pawns.
