The social media platform X has flagged a claim by Vice President Kamala Harris stating that Donald Trump if reelected president would ban abortion nationwide.
The community note attached to the post reads: “President Trump has repeatedly said he will not sign a national abortion ban” and includes links to stories on such news outlet as CNN and The New York Times, a well as Trump’s Truth Social account, showing his preference that abortion be left to the states and/or his refusal to back a nationwide ban.
