- Man first exited car, which became “engulfed in flames,” according to the U.S. Capitol Police force.
- He then allegedly fired several shots into the air before fatally shooting himself.
- “It does not appear officers fired their weapons,” police also said. “Our investigators are looking into the man’s background.”
