Jill Biden To Have Surgery For ‘Small Lesion’ Found In Skin Cancer Screening

• “In an abundance of caution, doctors have recommended that [the lesion] be removed,” said Physician to the President Dr. Kevin O’Connor.
• The 71-year-old Biden will have the surgery on Jan. 11 at Walter Reed National Military Medical Center, in Bethesda, Md.
• The surgery is a typically an outpatient procedure known as Mohs surgery  in which thin layers of skin is cut away  to look for any sign of cancer.
