• Eastbay, the iconic catalog and internet brand, will be shuttered in 2023, according to parent company Foot Locker.
• Foot Locker issued a statement to explain the closure, saying it was “a result of efforts to optimize distribution processes in order to serve” their customers across the country “more efficiently and effectively.”
• The catalogs that launched the Eastbay brand apparently have become irrelevant in the digital age.
