GOP Sues PA Over Counting Of Undated Mail-In Ballots

  • The U.S. Supreme Court last week invalidated hundreds of mail-in ballots that Pennsylvania previously had counted, despite the fact that they lacked a date and voter signature.
  • That prompted a coalition of Republicans to file suit against the state seeking to force the government to follow state law and toss out mail-in ballots lacking the required date.
  • The Republican coalition sued the state government for “planning to illegally accept undated mail-in ballots” in violation of the Supreme Court’s ruling.
