Darren McGrady, the personal chef for the royal family between 1982 and 1993, blasted the reported upcoming scene in which actress Elizabeth Debicki lies in an open casket.
He tweeted, “Princess Diana’s casket was closed when she laid in rest at the Chapel Royal, St James Palace. I know, I was there. This latest from The Crown is sick!”
Another scene in the series reportedly shows medics attempting to rescue Diana at a Paris hospital. “There is blood everywhere — on the surgeons’ gowns and gloves, and on the door,” an onlooker told The Sun.
