• Tilley was charged Monday morning, Lexington Police Department told the Courier Journal newspaper.
• The 53-year-old Tilley, a former Democrat state representative, allegedly had sex with a victim who could not consent due to their level of intoxication.
• Alleged rape occurred on April 15.
• Tilley’s attorneys say their client is innocent of charge.
• “He respects the judicial process and has no further comment at this time” said one of Tilly’s attorney’s of his client.
