• Ford announced that it will make its return to Formula One in 2026 as Red Bull Racing’s engine provider.
• The carmaker will get back in the game when F1’s 2026 rule changes — that call for current twin-turbo V6 engines to run on sustainable fuel and be fitted with hybrid components — are introduced.
• Beginning this year, Ford and Red Bull Powertrains will team up to create the next-generation hybrid power unit that will supply engines for Oracle Red Bull Racing as well as its sister team, Scuderia Alpha Tauri.
