A woman has been charged in the New Year’s Eve murder of an elderly couple residing in a retirement community in Florida.
50-year-old Vickie Williams is being held without bond for the killings of 83-year-old Darryl Getman and his 80-year-old wife, Shannon Getman. Police have not disclosed how the couple was murdered.
“If there are words to describe what has happened and its impact to our family and the community, we have not found them,” the children of the couple said in a statement.
