Detroit Comeback, GM Bests Toyota As No. 1 in US Auto Sales

• GM says it sold 2.27 million vehicles in 2022 the United State,  2.5% increase from the previous year.
• Toyota reported 2.1 million last year in vehicles sales in the U.S., down 9.6% from 2021.
• In 2021, Toyota surpassed GM in sales by 114,034 vehicles – dethroning the Detroit automaker as No. 1 in U.S. sales for the first time since 1931
