- Dozens of Democrats renounced that deal in a letter to House Speaker Nancy Pelosi and House Majority Leader Steny Hoyer.
- Their letter said that “attempts to short-circuit or undermine the law (on energy permitting) in the name of ‘reform’ must be opposed.”
