- Texas Congressman Dan Crenshaw has been hit with a $42,000 fine from the FEC for campaign finance violations.
- According to documents from the FEC’s Reports Analysis Division, Crenshaw was fined for failing to return more than $223,000 in illegal campaign donations dating back to the 2020 election cycle.
- The Division says that Crenshaw’s team including treasurer Paul Kilgore defied federal election law by “knowingly accepting excessive and prohibited corporate contributions” adding up to the aforementioned $223,000.
