- Enten noted that Democrats want to talk about about, “which. is the main focus of most of t heir ads. The more voters care about crime the worse it is for Democrats.”
- In fact, Enten said that after the Supreme Court decision overturning Roe v. Wade, Google searches for abortion were much higher than for crime.
- But that has changed as crime has moved to the forefront for voters. “Look now, in September. Crime, 71% (of searches) to just 29% for abortion. That is basically back to the pre-Roe v. Wade overturning base line, where we were back in April, where crime made up 74% of searches versus abortion at just 26%.”
