Brazilian President Jair Bolsonaro not only decided not to hand over the presidential sash to the president-elect, Luiz Inácio Lula da Silva, on January 1st, but also intends to be out of the country on that date.
Bolsonaro told friends that he will spend some time at the Mar-a-Lago condominium in Palm Beach, Florida. Former President Donald Trump owns the property, which is home to a luxury resort, also owned by Trump’s companies.
