• Rescue and recovery work continued Friday morning in Autauga County, where at least seven people died in an early afternoon tornado Thursday.
• More than a dozen remain missing in the Old Kingston community in the central part of the county.
• In Selma, wide swaths of destruction were visible from drone footage. On the ground, hundreds of trees were down and roofs were sheered off buildings. The storm left wood, metal and personal belongings in heaps, cars helplessly mangled beneath the debris.
