• Indiana Republican Rep. Jim Banks on Tuesday announced his 2024 for the Senate seat of outing Sen. Mike Braun.

• Banks is seeking to succeed GOP Sen. Mike Braun, who filed in November to run for Indiana governor in 2024. Banks, who won reelection with more than 65% of the vote in 2022 according to the Associated Press, is the only person so far to have declared candidacy for Indiana’s 2024 Senate race.
