A power outage at a water purification plant has put more than 2 million people in the Houston area under a boil order notice.
Water must be boiled by residents before being used for cooking, bathing, or drinking.
The water is believed to be safe but the boil order was mandated due to a drop in water pressure. Houston Mayor Sylvester Turner said that water sampling will start on Monday.
