- The. Cobb. County. Sheriff’s Office reported two deputies were killed while attempting to serve a warrant. The deputies’ names have not been released.
- The suspects in the shooting, Christopher Cook and Christopher Golden, were apprehended and appeared in court Sept. 9.
- The warrants reportedly were being served against Cook for three felony counts of theft by receiving and three counts of theft by deception.
